On May 12, 2019, Was our first Outreach and we visited the Wabigalo Railway Slum in Makindye, where we focused on supporting mothers and their children. Additionally, we offered counseling services to help them cope with their challenges. This outreach event marked the beginning of our journey to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
In June 2021, we conducted an outreach in Luwero Wanfufu, where we encountered a heart-wrenching situation – a single mother with (5) five children, abandoned by her husband during the lockdown. Determined to make a difference, we provided the family with essential items such as clothes, shoes, food, Jerricans, and beddings. But most remarkably, one of our volunteers @~Mark Jonathan Ajuna offered the mother a job opportunity, which marked a turning point in their lives. This act of kindness brought about a forever change, empowering the mother to become self-sufficient and break free from the cycle of begging for food, giving her and her children a newfound sense of hope and dignity.

On December 26, 2020, amidst the COVID-19 lockdown, our team bravely ventured into the Katanga Wandegeya slums to reach out to some of the most vulnerable individuals, including prostitutes, single mothers, street children, and orphans. This outreach was particularly challenging due to the pandemic, but we were determined to make a difference. We provided counseling, listened to their heart-wrenching stories, and offered support to those living with HIV, a harsh reality for many in this community due to prostitution. Despite the difficulties, we managed to reach over 100 individuals, providing them with essential items like clothes, posho, rice, beans, soap, basins, and most importantly, prayers and words of encouragement.
On December 26, 2021, our team visited Mukono Kikoza in Wakiso, where we encountered a stark contrast – widows residing in beautiful homes, yet struggling with empty stomachs. We also met grandparents shouldering the responsibility of caring for their grandchildren, and disabled elderly individuals abandoned by their children. Despite these challenging circumstances, we were able to bring hope and joy to 100 families, providing them with essential support. We also had the privilege of holding a church service with the community in one of the local worship centers, offering comfort, and creating memories of joy in the midst of hardship. Our outreach aimed to remind them that they are not forgotten, and that love and care can bring light into even the darkest of situations
On June 3rd, 2022, we celebrated a special day with the vibrant children of Vine of Ages Children’s Center in Bugiri Busowa.
