Founded in 2019 Pendo heals foundation is dedicated to transforming the lives of the least considered in the local communities across Uganda through a holistic approach. Our comprehensive programs include Charity Outreach, providing basic needs such as food, clothing, and essential items to those in need; Prayer Outreach, offering spiritual guidance and comfort; Parents’ Heart Education Program, providing educational support and empowerment to children, enabling them to reach their full potential; Medical Camps, delivering crucial healthcare services; and Games and Sports, fostering unity and physical well-being. Through these integrated initiatives, we strive to create lasting positive change and empower individuals to thrive, making a meaningful difference in the lives of marginalized communities.
Empowering the girl child is at the heart of our mission. We believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to reach her full potential, free from barriers and limitations. Through targeted programs and initiatives, we provide girls with the support, resources, and mentorship they need to succeed. By promoting girls’ education, self-advocacy, and personal growth, we aim to create a brighter, more equitable future for all. Our goal is to empower girls to be confident leaders, changemakers, and agents of positive change in their communities.
We also provide vital counseling services to women facing various challenges, including depression, divorce, neglect, and single motherhood. Our trained counselors offer a safe, non-judgmental space for women to share their struggles and receive emotional support. Through individual and group therapy sessions, we help them build resilience, regain confidence, and develop coping strategies to overcome their difficulties. Our goal is to empower these women to heal, thrive, and create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
During our outreaches, we also prioritize the education and well-being of school children in the villages and communities we serve. By providing scholastic materials and support, we empower them with the tools they need to succeed in their studies and build a brighter future. Our outreach to schools and school children aims to make a lasting impact on their lives and foster a love for learning that will stay with them forever
We believe every individual deserves to be seen, heard, and loved. Through our Prayer Outreach program, we seek to find and lift up in prayer the least considered in their communities, including the poor and homeless, refugees and displaced persons, vulnerable children, the sick, injured, or disabled, those struggling with addiction or mental health, single parents and families in crisis, and those facing discrimination or persecution, asking God to bring comfort, hope, and healing to those who need it most, and demonstrating Jesus’ love and care for the most vulnerable among us.
At Pendo Heals Foundation, we believe that strong communities are built on the foundation of wellness and unity. Our community wellness and unity programs are designed to bring people together, foster social connections, and promote overall well-being. Through initiatives such as sports tournaments, community clean-up events, cultural exchange programs and mentorship opportunities, we aim to create a sense of belonging and empowerment among community members.
